Do you know HOLI powder? You see it everywhere: in color runs, festivals, and even in the trendiest advertisements. Our range of HOLI colored powder can be used for any type of event: Original wedding photos, bachelorette party, theme party...
Made with corn flour and food pigments, our powder is eco-friendly! There are many colors to match the image of your event.
Have fun with this colorful powder to throw in the air! Several packagings are proposed from the simple sachet to the bulk bag of 10kgs but also through container facilitating the projection: cannons, spray bottles, and pressurized bottles (modified fire extinguishers).
Recommendations for use with Holi powder
For an optimal effect, we recommend that you and your guests wear white clothes (we can make personalized t-shirts for you in your image if necessary). The color of the natural pigments washes out, however we recommend that you use clothes that can be washed at high temperatures.
Our colored party powder is safe for you or the environment. However, we advise you to protect your eyes with sunglasses or other in order to avoid too intense projections during the event.
What are the origins of Holi powder?
Because it's nice to throw powder in the air, but why this funny idea??
In reality, "Holi" is originally a tradition born in India also known as Phalguna or the festival of colors, generally celebrated at the same time as the arrival of spring. Holi means "to burn" which comes from the word Holika, in fact Holi powder has replaced the ashes originally used by the Hindus in this celebration and which they used to cover their faces.
In India the colors projected during this festival have a particular meaning: green for harmony, orange for optimism, blue for vitality and red for joy and love.
