The 8 mm safety chain for pro mirror ball installation

For any mirror ball installation above the public (nightclub, concert hall, wedding venue, event venue), the safety chain is mandatory in addition to the motor — it's the anti-fall system that holds the ball if the main system fails.

For large mirror balls (50 cm and over), it is recommended to plan 2 chains (main + redundancy) for multiplied safety.

Certified maximum loads: 200 kg in BGV C1 (German stage safety standard with ×8 safety coefficient) and 400 kg in WLL (Working Load Limit with ×4 coefficient).
